RM3mil in vouchers to help boost sale of local handicraft

VOUCHERS to buy Malaysian handicraft products will resume from today in conjunction with Malaysia Day, with an allocation of RM3mil.

Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry said the incentive was reintroduced under the Tourism Recovery Plan 2022, following the success of a similar initiative which had directly benefitted the craft community after sales of RM21.7mil was generated.
